Green humor by Leonardo DiCaprio

When asked if he flew over from the US to Cannes on a plane to view the screening of his new Eco documentary 'The 11th hour' the star retorted

"No, I took a train across the Atlantic".

DiCaprio isn't best pleased with the latest Green backlash leveled at celebrities like Ludacris who popped on to the Live Earth broadcast to promote the virtues of greener living.

If you don't know the work of rap star Ludacris I'd recommend starting with hip hop anthem 'Southern Hospitality' including lyrics celebrating the virtues of the gas guzzling Cadillac Escalade;

'Ah - Cadillac grills, Cadillac bills, Check out the oil, My Cadillac spills...'

DiCaprio has a good point though; at Cannes he goes on to say, "If you're going to attack somebody on the way they conduct their life, let's talk about the big picture, let's see what big oil companies are doing"

Well lets see, Shell had that wonderful full length ad also worthy of a screening at Cannes.
